Eyes, and Vision
According to the American Optometric Association, some 12 million people visit eye doctors for computer- related problems each year! Modern working environments often cause unnecessary eye strain which can also lead to headaches. Headaches, along with repetitive strain injuries, are growing faster than any other work-related injury as a result of our computerized environments.
Common symptoms that result from staring at a monitor screen for hours at a time include blurred vision, headaches, and eye fatigue (asthenopia). However, many of these symptoms can be prevented through a series of simple and inexpensive changes in your computer station.
